Rémy Bompoint

Rémy is a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience at Stellantis, where he started in 2005 (formerly Groupe PSA). His career began in the Materials Department, where he spent 13 years developing materials constitutive laws for structural simulations. During this period, he focused on mechanical testing and material model identification for a wide variety of materials and later managed the team for six years.
In 2019, he joined the CAE Optimization team, where he mainly conducted Multi-disciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) studies to support vehicle development. His work covers a broad range of simulation fields - including crash, NVH, durability, CFD, and 0D/1D system modeling - with the objective of improving performance while minimizing mass.
For the past two years, he has also been serving as Technical Leader for West Europe, supporting teams and ensuring the deployment of advanced CAE optimization methodologies across the region.
