Monang Dilipbhai Vadivala

Student
Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg

Monang Vadivala is a Research Associate at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg (BTU), Germany, where he conducts research on the development of digital twin technologies for Power-to-X-to-Power energy systems. His work focuses on data-driven modeling, system simulation, and the integration of advanced computational and machine learning approaches to analyze, optimize, and enhance the performance of complex engineering and energy systems.
He received his Master of Science in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering from Hochschule Schmalkalden, Germany, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering. His master’s thesis was conducted at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he worked on the validation and evaluation of artificial intelligence models for driving style classification using real-world vehicle data.
Before joining BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg, he worked as a Development Engineer at Bertrandt AG on projects for Porsche AG. In this role, he focused on the analysis of automotive sensor data and the development of Python-based tools for the processing and visualization of large-scale measurement datasets from radar and camera systems used in advanced vehicle platforms.
His research interests lie at the intersection of digital twin technologies, machine learning for engineering systems, intelligent mobility, and data-driven modeling of complex technical infrastructures. Through both academic research and industrial collaboration, his work aims to bridge theoretical advances with practical applications in modern cyber-physical and energy systems.
