Jun Watanabe

Jun Watanabe has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor memory industry and joined Micron Memory Japan in 2014. He has held key engineering roles in circuit design and verification, as well as product engineering. He currently leads a data analytics team focused on accelerating optimization, machine learning, and AI solutions in the field of DRAM functional performance. His expertise spans circuit design, testing, and data/application server enablement, enabling strong integration across development and manufacturing domains.
Outside of his professional work, he is passionate about tuning his own car, an interest that has influenced his approach to optimization.
