John Bloomberg

John Bloomberg is a Senior Engineer and Digital Integration Leader in Systems Engineering at GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, Ohio. He defines and leads digital engineering strategy for major programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and contract commitments, and coordinates execution across Digital Technology and Systems Engineering teams to deliver integrated, high-quality digital solutions.

With more than three decades of experience at GE Aerospace, GE Additive, GE Aviation, and MSC Software, John brings deep expertise in digital engineering, product lifecycle management (PLM), and simulation. At GE Additive, he led the global PLM strategic roadmap, deploying digital tools and processes across engineering and supply chain. His prior roles span additive build simulation, simulation data management, new product introduction, and engineering design and development for advanced aircraft and industrial turbine engines.

John is a graduate of GE’s Edison Engineering Development Program and holds both an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a BS in Natural Sciences / Systems Analysis from Taylor University.
