Andrea Ferrero is Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin. He is responsible for the courses “Computational Fluid Dynamics for Aerospace Propulsion Systems” and “Rocket Propulsion” in the M.S. Aerospace Engineering program at the Polytechnic University of Turin. His research activities include the development of high-fidelity CFD solvers, Reduced Order Models and data-driven methodologies to support the design of aerospace propulsion systems. He holds a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Fluid dynamics from the Polytechnic University of Turin. He spent two years at INRIA in Bordeaux working as post-doc on Reduced Order Models and Fluid Structure Interaction.
