Introducing nDAI: bridging engineering simulation and machine learning for instant design predictions
Modern product development demands high-fidelity data in every phase of the design process, but traditional physics-based simulations are computationally expensive and hence often restricted to the pre-production phase. While artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) have the potential to cover this need, their adoption is frequently hindered by infrastructure limits, the need for rigorous data governance, and a persistent cultural gap between simulation engineers and data scientists. To overcome these hurdles, ESTECO introduces nDAI: an AI engineering platform designed for instant design predictions, sustainable AI/ML training, and comprehensive data governance.
Structured around a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) philosophy, nDAI upskills simulation engineers by allowing them to harness AI within their everyday workflows without requiring a data science background. During this presentation, we will showcase the core of the nDAI platform: the nD Modeler app. Attendees will learn how nDAI’s guided machine learning approaches empower engineering teams to rapidly build surrogate models and evaluate hundreds of new design configurations in a fraction of the time, effectively bridging the gap between traditional simulation and AI-driven design.
